In Saudi Arabia, we have been active in open-pit mining since 2012, operating at various locations and processing different raw materials.
During the extraction of bauxite, Jac Rijk was active in Suriname for more than 25 years, from bush clearing to the extraction, excavation and transport of bauxite by road and water to the refinery. This has enabled us to make a valuable contribution to Surinamese society.
Various works have recently been carried out in the Juliana Canal to improve the waterway and make it future-proof.
During the expansion of the port of Rotterdam, Maasvlakte II, Jac Rijk, in collaboration with Boskalis and Van Oord, was responsible for the dry earthmoving and processing of all dump rock during the construction of this newly developed port. Approximately 75 machines from Jac Rijk were in operation 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

In Saudi Arabia, JRAR operates as a Mining Servicing Company where we operate at several locations, we take care of our customers here in terms of drilling, blasting, excavation and transportation of the raw materials as well as controlling the stockpiles and waste dumps.
